We are helping out at a growing center called Ciudad Refugio (City of Refuge) which reaches out to the homeless, has a drug rehabilitation program, a church,…  While in Newport Beach just before Christmas, we encountered this cute little dog at a boutique. The owner’s dog, actually. He was simultaneously playful, curious, and shy. He would come running out from the back with a “Yip!” of a bark. Then he’d run away again……. only to re-emerge. Why? Because he liked us and…  I love this photo! It’s the side of an all glass bar in the huge lobby of the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles. I love the colors, the shapes, and the softness of it. I’m enlarging it and having it framed to decorate my place….  Only in Vegas is the indoor parking FREE. And why? So that you can spend all your hard earned money in the slot machines.
