Tag Archives: Times Square Sara and Robert had what I’ll call “a taste of New York” They arrived from Scotland with a small, dedicated band of friends and family to get married! Their wedding took us from the legendary Plaza Hotel, to Central Park, to the New York Times Square, and back to The Plaza….. Very Cool! Thank you…  One of the first things I learned about photography when I was still just a teenager is that light is so important. The characteristics of the light (soft vs hard; from a large or small source; the color; the quantity; continuous vs strobe; etc) are what make a photograph even possible….  PS: Why do they need to check to see if they took the picture? Do they not trust their equipment? And, what if something really cool or special or earth shattering or newsworthy happens right there but they miss it because they’re so focused on their camera? Hmmmm…. we can only wonder.  What more can I say?
