It was originally established after Hurricane Katrina for women and children who needed shelter. It has now become a place of healing and restoration from traumatic life experiences (domestic abuse,…  We all flew in together and that night we had our first rehearsal with the multi-church choir. It was really fun meeting folks from so many different church denominations and coming together. We sounded awesome BTW! PS: It was so great having the children with us too. It made the whole trip so much tender…  “…that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: ‘We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal.’” Wow!
