In a Bookish Mood

Award Winning Wedding Photographer
It’s so cool how all over NYC people are selling books on some little table set up somewhere, usually on some random sidewalk somewhere. Some of the books are really nice too! Right now I could go for something by Agatha Christie….. hmmmm this guy seems to be fresh out …..

Looking for an apartment?

Apartment Photographer
Do any of you need an apartment? To rent or to buy? A studio or a one-bedroom? Then come to New York! Where apartment buildings soar high in the sky and so do the rents! The livin’ is large yet the apartments are small…… Ok, so at least I warned you;-)

Here’s a darling little wedding album! I just love this Japenese silk cover that Leather Craftsmen does–sweet! Wendy G albums always have a very clean layout with some spreads having one or two huge photos or smaller images nicely arranged with a generous amount of white space. This is what I call GOOD use of photoshop. Not putting a million little tricks and overlays and text and borders and all kinds of distractions. This type of layout truly lets the photos speak for themselves. What distinguishes this type of album is that the center has a tiny split, the pages are mounted on a thick, hard substrate, and of course these gorgeous covers in leather or Japenese silk.;-)Love!

We got so much snow this past winter, it was down right, gosh-darnit, DEPRESSING! The first few times, back before Christmas, it was kinda cute. But then we kept getting these like BLIZZARDS back-to-back! And you couldn’t hardly walk anywhere. People with cars were parked all-crooked and crazy-like because some of their wheels were up on top of 12+ inches of snow. There were moments where everything literally looked more like a scene from a Sci-Fi movie rather than real life. Oh well, life is like that sometimes. More unreal than real. At least I got to wear my newish Bean Boots a’ plenty. These are some pretty scenes and one weird one (yes people, the water from the fire hydrant actually froze mid-stream)
