After A While

NY Professional Photographer
Okay, for this new year, I want to set the record straight….. being married takes a lot of WORK. If you just got engaged, you may see yourself as the world’s first exception to this rule, but hear me now and believe me later. Being married requires w.o.r.k. But the little investments you make now, will pay huge dividends later!

It’s not easy to be patient, understanding, kind, unselfish, open-minded, affectionate…… to go out of your way for the sole benefit of just one other person. NONE of us have a problem exerting herculean amounts of energy to get what we want or what we need…. but after a while, going the extra mile for somebody else is no longer fun…. AFTER A WHILE. And being married is all about AFTER A WHILE… in other words all the work and all the sacrifice and all the energy is required AFTER the initial crush has faded… after a while. The true love doesn’t even begin to show itself until after both ups and downs have come…. after the good and the bad have been experienced… after everything unflattering or unattractive has no where left to hide…. it’s only AFTER A WHILE that TRUE LOVE IS BORN.
NY Professional Photographer
TRUE LOVE is real and it’s important and it’s powerful. It’s better than any dream or fairy tale and it’s worth it. But it only comes AFTER A WHILE.

2012…… Ten Beautiful Years Later

NY Metro Professional Wedding Photographer
This is Dina…. from my very first wedding! She and Tony got married in 2002 in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. At that time becoming a professional wedding photographer seemed like a distant dream. But here I am…. 10 beautiful years later. What are your dreams? I hope that 2012 blossoms with dreams coming true just for you!

Christmas in New York City is pretty exciting….so many sites to see and shopping and lights and chestnuts roasting on street corners…..
